As I was sitting in my room trying to find the perfect outfit to wear on my date night, I realized two things. The first is that all my clothes were starting to look plain and exactly the kind of outfits everyone else was wearing. Secondly, the date night clothes I did have were already worn on past date nights. Let's be real, who wants to post the same outfit you wore in your last date night post on Instagram?! Not me!

After trying on outfit after outfit and asking my boyfriend if he liked it, he said he loved all of them, of course (which wasn't helping me make a decision). It got me thinking that I need to find a cute boutique outfit so not EVERYONE else has it. I have noticed three things about boutiques recently compared to the standard department store:

1. Boutiques always know trends before they become popular.

2. Boutiques carry the cutest clothes that department stores don't carry.

3. Boutiques give you so many options that you can dress up or down based on the accessories or shoes you pair the clothes with.

Basically, I LOVE boutiques because the clothes are just SO much better and more unique. After searching for a new and trendy boutique, I found Gladiola Girls. This boutique is located inside the Boonsboro Shopping Center in Lynchburg, VA. However, all their stylish looks can be bought online on their website as well.

Here is my first impression experience of the boutique and the outfit I chose:

Walking into Gladiola Girls was like walking into fashion heaven. This boutique is HUGE! There are tons of racks with popular brands such as Free People, but also sale racks with last grabs and discounted items! The store is stocked with all fashion accessories you can think of from rings to shoes and even fragrances. What I loved most about this boutique is that it is a one stop shop. You can get all your fashion needs in one place!

I was instantly drawn to these lace-like leggings that are probably the most comfortable leggings I have ever worn. They are a creme/off-white color that goes well with almost anything. I decided to pair these vintage leggings with a flowy top in a lighter pink shade. I paired this outfit with Gladiola Girl's lace-like shoes since it went well with the leggings. The shoes are flats and also super comfortable to wear, especially for long hours of the day. Every girl has to accessorize, so of course I found a simple beaded bracelet and a shiny rose gold choker to add to the finished look.

This outfit is not only adorable, but also extremely comfortable! I can wear this outfit going to lunch with the girls or even out to date night with my boyfriend. I love how easy it is to dress this outfit up or down.
