If you were to ask me what my style is, I would say boho-chic with a little bit of vintage (if I can afford it, let’s be real) hehe. Brands such as @freepeople, @urbanoutfitters, @forever21, and so on are definitely my go-to’s.
Instagram is my main source of style inspiration. My two favorite Instagram bloggers are @bonniekatez and @kristinjohns. Their style is the epitome of boho-chic.
Living in Lynchburg, VA can be hard because we don’t have a huge selection of clothing stores and boutiques. Although, there is one boutique that I have been obsessed with since 2014, Gladiola Girls.
I came across Gladiola Girls in Downtown Lynchburg before they moved to Boonsboro, VA. I walked in and instantly saw high quality clothes (which I am a sucker for). Free People is one of the big brands Gladiola Girls sells; therefore, I am always shopping in their little boutique!
This is one of the dresses Gladiola Girls sells. It has two layers of black linen with the top layer being very boho and whimsical-looking. I love wearing this on a Sunday afternoon after church or on the beach! It is very stylish but also extremely comfy! #WinWin
With a whimsical, black dress, I decided to go with a pair of light-colored, leather booties! Adding a pop of color to a dark dress definitely brings the whole entire outfit together.
Tip: If you’re short like me (I’m 5 foot), get some height in your heels so the dress doesn’t overbear you.
Lastly, there's nothing like a dainty necklace to finish off a boho-whimsical look! I chose this necklace because it was small and simple. I didn't want to take the attention off this beautiful dress and shoes; therefore, I kept it sweet & simple!
I hope you enjoyed this blog post and the little tips here & there! You can find all these items at Gladiola Girls!
